OUR FIRM

Lee & Keary was formed on March 1, 1994 (then known as Dunn, Lee & Keary) by its three partners, Stephen Dunn, David Lee and Grant Keary, who had already practiced together for several years. Steve and David began their careers with the Los Angeles office of Thelen, Marrin, Johnson and Bridges, a large California law firm with its headquarters in San Francisco. Grant joined them in the mid-1980s while they practiced with the firm of Urland, Morello, Dunn & Maynard. Steve Dunn retired from the firm in 2014, and the firm is now known as Lee & Keary.

The attorneys have a broad base of experience which enables the firm to represent its clients in a wide variety of areas. As a result of that experience, the firm is able to both act as “general counsel” to its business, corporate, financial institution, health care, partnership and real estate clients, as well as representing those types of clients in particular areas as the need arises. The Firm works with its clients in a collegial atmosphere while reflecting an energetic and proactive approach to the practice of law.

We strive to provide each client with the best possible representation, and we believe we are responsive to our clients’ needs and desires. Our services are offered at very competitive hourly rates designed to enable our clients to receive the best service, without the burden of a large overhead. Our partners are graduates of the top American Bar Association-approved law schools who desire to work in a smaller firm that emphasizes client service.
